Abstract
To light works of historical-artistic importance a variety of disciplines must be involved, interweaving both the technical and the artistic needs. Lighting museums and places of worship are two typologies that well represent the problems to be dealt with. By looking at three projects that Disano specialists realized recently in Italy, i.e. the National Historical Museum of Artillery in Turin, the Museum of Villa Grimaldi Fassio and the Church of the Certosa in Pavia, we will point out the major criteria followed to correctly achieve this type of lighting system.
