IAEEL newsletter 1/92
Dutch firms join forces Eighteen companies that supply energy-efficient lighting products founded the Dutch association Licht Consortium on February 20, 1992. The members of the consortium, of which some are based outside the Netherlands, together offer a wide variety of professional products and services, ranging from lamp design and manufacturing to programme design and financial packages. The consortium also wants to offer information and education to small installation firms. One important reason for forming the consortium was the wish to create an organization that could match Philips Lighting and Philips oriented companies such as ETAP (Belgium) and Maars (the Netherlands) in offering the Dutch utilities a full-range service for their aggressive DSM-programmes. (See separate article about Environmental Action Programmes in IAEEL 1/92) Founding members of the consortium are: AEG Nederland, Bell-Licht, Brite Lite, BSL Lichttekniek, ERCO Nederland, Etaloid, Fagerhult-lyktan, Hogro Apparatenfabriek, Industria, Interlite, Lichtplan Nederland, Licrea Eurol, Maxplay, Miron, Spaanderman, Licht Groep, Spaapen, Osram, Nederland en Schreder.
