Right Light 4
Right Light 4, held in Copenhagen in November 1997, attracted some 240 attendees from 29 countries which represents a significant improvement compared with 1995, when about 170 persons attended.
Right Light 4 was the 4th European Conference on Energy-Efficient Lighting. It was during the first conference in Stockholm in 1991 that IAEEL was founded, and ever since these conferences have brought together people from various disciplines in the field of lighting and energy.
More manufacturers and designers were present at Copenhagen than at earlier conferences, "but we will try to tailor the program to cater for these groups in the discussion even more", says IAEEL chairman Egil Öfverholm, who welcomes suggestions for improving the conference. The conference lasted for three days, and more than 100 peer-reviewed papers were presented, with topics ranging from the implementation of technology to systems & applications.
