The testing facility at Lighting Research Center, USA. The matrix at the floor shows all points were the office worker performed the writing tasks in order to test the sensor's ability to perform at various locations in the room.

The computer desk could easily be moved. Only finger movements were tested. In order to prevent the sensor from detecting leg and head movements, a curtain hid the legs and feet, and a head rest prevented the head to move.
