Hannover gors to Frankfurt
Up till now, the world's largest lighting trade fair has been arranged in conjunction with the Hannover Fair, but next year it will merge with the newly created Light+Building Trade Fair in Frankfurt.
The move reflects trends in the lighting industry itself: it is increasingly becoming a part of integrated buildings systems. The new fair, scheduled for March 19-23, 2000, will cover lighting technology, climate control technology, and house and building management systems, and will have a building performance conference with lighting technology on its agenda.
