Loggers Give the Answer


Finding Loggers




To our knowledge, lighting loggers are only manufactured in the US, without doubt reflecting the country's history of demand-side management programs and associated needs for measurement and verification. However, lighting loggers are imported to many other countries. (Loggers that for instance meters occupancy of people only are not included here.)

Prices vary widely, depending on the type of logger, the extra equipment included, and the number of loggers purchased. A simple runtime logger may cost (in the US) between US$100 and $150, and a time-of-use logger about three-times that amount. Occupancy loggers cost between $200 and $500. Many of the loggers described here are also produced in versions that can be used to monitor the usage patterns of other electrical devices, such as motors, boilers, etc. Manufacturers of loggers are listed below:
