The organisational status of IAEEL is pending a decision to form an Annex on advanced lighting programmes within the International Energy Agency´s DSM programme. The IAEEL activities, including the Right Light conferences, will be moved into this programme. Novem–Netherlands Agency for Energy and the Environment–is acting chair of IAEEL until this transition has been completed. For more information, contact: Mr. Nils Borg.

RIGHT LIGHT 6
Shanghai, 9-11 May 2005
IAEEL has been organising the previous Right Light 1-5 conferences (International Conferences on Energy-Efficient Lighting) in conjunction with national partners. The Right Light 6 conference will take place 9-11 May 2005 in Shanghai, China, The conference is organised in co-operation with the China Green Lights Programme. The Call for Papers is closing on 28 June 2004. Further information can be found at the Right Light 6 conference web site. CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
Right Light 5 proceedings are found on the web site of eceee, the European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy. See "library+links". All abstracts can be searched, but pdf:s are available for eceee members only. It is easy to become a member. More information is given on the eceee site.

THE IAEEL WEB SITE AND IAEEL NEWSLETTER
IAEEL Newsletter No. 1-2/00 was the last issue for the time being and for now we have no financial means to publish new issues or to keep the web site up to date. A new informatoin service is considered within the above-mentioned lighting annex within the IEA. All the old issues can be found on this web site. The web site will be kept open BUT NO UPDATES HAVE BEEN MADE since the last issue published. This is an archive only.
