Summary
Right Lighting calculation programs are a valuable tool in the process of optimization of lighting comfort, energy consumption and maintenance costs. It is discussed that the overall accuracy of the programs depends on the algorithm of the program but particularly on the interaction between preciseness of the input data, calculation grid and the algorithm.
Some examples are given using a new program capable of emulating a number of calculation principles.
